It usually takes place at the end of the selection process, before the decision to sign a contract.<\/p><h2>How a PoC works<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Select two to four critical use cases, such as the data model, data import or export to a channel<\/li>\n<li>Provide a representative sample of your data<\/li>\n<li>The vendor or partner implements the use cases, typically over a few weeks<\/li>\n<li>Jointly evaluate the results against predefined criteria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>When a PoC is worthwhile<\/h2>\n<p>When the investment is substantial, requirements are specific or two vendors are equally strong after their presentations.
