Brand Channel DAM

Brand Channel is the digital asset management solution from Berlin-based DemoUp Cliplister GmbH, designed for brands and online retailers. In addition to DAM, the vendor offers content syndication for retailers, media delivery and content creation.

Brand Channel runs as SaaS. According to the vendor, data is stored in ISO-27001-certified data centres in Europe and is subject to the GDPR. DemoUp Cliplister does not cite certification for the company itself.

Integration with PIM and other systems

DemoUp Cliplister does not list a proprietary PIM for Brand Channel; content syndication for retailers is a separate offering. Listed integrations include PIM systems and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as a Stibo Systems STEP connector that links DAM assets within the PIM. According to the FAQ, the DAM supports headless use via API.

Who Brand Channel DAM is suited for

According to the vendor, Brand Channel is built for e-commerce and targets brands and online retailers. DemoUp Cliplister reports over 2,500 brands and 450 online retailers in its network.

Pricing

DemoUp Cliplister does not publish prices. According to the FAQ, pricing depends on individual requirements.

Ownership

Cliplister (Kiel, 2007) and DemoUp (Berlin, 2014) merged in 2021 to form DemoUp Cliplister. According to a published announcement, the company was sold to Bregal Unternehmerkapital’s E-Commerce Software Group in August 2024.
