Filecamp

Filecamp is a cloud-based digital asset management solution from Filecamp AG in Cham, founded in 2010 by Jesper Faurby and Keld Vraakjaer. All plans include unlimited users; according to the vendor, more than 1,800 organisations use the product.

Hosting and security

Filecamp runs as a cloud service on Microsoft Azure; customers are assigned to a region in the US, Europe or Asia-Pacific. Backups are performed daily and retained for 30 days. The vendor cites ISO 27001 and SOC 2 only for Azure, not for Filecamp itself.

Connectivity with PIM and other systems

Filecamp does not offer a PIM system or list any PIM integrations. According to the vendor, there are no integrations with Adobe, Canva or Figma, no public API and no single sign-on; the latter two are planned for the end of 2026.

Who Filecamp is for

Filecamp targets both small teams without an IT department and larger organisations. Sectors mentioned include advertising and design, architecture, fashion, photography, print, media, non-profits and public sector organisations.

Pricing

Basic costs US$29 per month (20 GB), Advanced US$59 (50 GB) and Professional US$89 (100 GB), each with unlimited users. Annual payments are US$348, US$708 and US$1,068 respectively. A 30-day trial is available without a credit card; no tax information is provided.

Filecamp was founded by Jesper Faurby and Keld Vraakjaer; the vendor does not mention any investors or acquisitions.
