Optimizely DAM profile
Optimizely DAM provides digital asset management within the Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP), following the acquisition of Welcome in late 2021. It focuses on managing and reusing marketing content that can be connected to Optimizely CMS.

Hosting and security
Optimizely states that optional EU data hosting in EU data centres is available ("where applicable"). Its compliance page lists SOC 2 Type 2 for the CMP; ISO 27001 and TISAX are listed there for other products (CMS and Campaign respectively).
Integration with PIM and other systems
Optimizely does not list a PIM module or PIM integrations for its DAM. The DAM can connect to Optimizely CMS 12 via an Asset Picker; according to the vendor, native integrations are also available for WordPress, Marketo, Salesforce and Veeva, among others.
Who Optimizely DAM is suited to
Optimizely DAM is aimed at marketing and content teams. Its product page lists Road Scholar, RAKBANK, BMC Software and CompTIA, and the vendor states that over 10,000 brands use the DAM.
Pricing
Optimizely does not publish prices. According to its Plans page, each plan is tailored individually; no free trial is mentioned.
Ownership
According to a press release dated 1 December 2021, Optimizely is privately held and a portfolio company of Insight Partners. The acquisition of Welcome was announced in the same month.
