Daminion profile
Daminion offers a digital asset management system that, according to the vendor, has been in development for over 20 years and was previously known as PicaJet. Its focus is a searchable media repository hosted on your own server or NAS, or alternatively in the Daminion Cloud.

Deployment and security
Daminion runs on-premises on Windows servers or NAS, in the Daminion Cloud or in a hybrid setup. For cloud hosting, the vendor lists AWS, Azure, GCP and Digital Ocean, with a choice of data centre regions. Daminion does not list certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2; its cloud page refers only to GDPR-, CCPA- and HIPAA-compliant data centres.
Integration with PIM and other systems
Daminion does not offer its own PIM system, and the vendor does not list any PIM integrations. Integrations are available for Adobe applications, Microsoft Office, Active Directory and Entra ID, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. An HTTP API with OAuth 2.0 is also available.

Daminion targets teams and departments in small and medium-sized businesses, as well as organisations in sectors including architecture, construction, manufacturing, education and the public sector.
Pricing
On-premises pricing starts at US$330 per month, billed annually on a per-user basis. Cloud pricing is available on request and depends on the number of users and storage capacity. A 14-day trial is available on request.
