Portfolio DAM is a digital asset management system for deployment on your own infrastructure, marketed as Extensis Portfolio until 2026. Since its acquisition by Axle AI in March 2026, it has been developed, sold and supported by Portfolio DAM, LLC.

Deployment and security
Portfolio runs on physical or virtual servers on your own infrastructure or as a private cloud instance, for example on AWS, Azure or OVH. Container options are available on request. The vendor does not list any certifications.
Connectivity with PIM and other systems
Portfolio does not list any PIM modules or PIM integrations. Business applications connect via a REST API. According to the vendor, legacy server-side script integrations are no longer actively supported.

According to the vendor, Portfolio is designed for teams ranging from small groups to global enterprises that prioritise deployment on their own infrastructure.

The vendor does not publish pricing. Access is governed by separate licence agreements.
Ownership
Axle AI, which describes itself as a privately held company, acquired the Portfolio product line in March 2026 from Extensis, a Monotype company. It continues under the Portfolio brand within Portfolio DAM, LLC.
