MediaBeacon profile
MediaBeacon is a DAM system acquired by Esko in 2015 and marketed as a DAM solution for brand owners, often in combination with the packaging workflow software WebCenter. It focuses on the centralised management of artwork, images, videos and 3D models with configurable metadata.

MediaBeacon can run in Esko’s hosted cloud or on-premises in the customer’s own network or cloud; Esko does not specify hosting regions. Esko is certified to ISO 27001:2022 (software development, cloud operations) and has a SOC 2 Type 2 report; it does not state whether MediaBeacon falls within the scope of either.
Integration with PIM and other systems
Esko does not list a native PIM module or PIM connectors for MediaBeacon. It does list the Adobe Connector, an open API, integrations with workflow tools and distribution to e-commerce and social media channels.
