Plytix is a PIM provider based in Málaga, Spain, founded in 2014. The software is designed for small and medium-sized businesses, which is reflected in both its pricing model and ease of use.
Plytix collects and enriches product information and syndicates it to online stores, marketplaces and retailers. The interface is designed so that teams can get to work without extensive training. Plytix publishes its pricing on its website, with tiers based on scope. This is relatively rare among PIM providers. Customers include Baldinini, Toner Buzz and Musco Food.
Support is one of Plytix’s strengths: implementation, consulting and training are part of the offering, and each account manager looks after a relatively small number of customers. Data sheets can be designed in a dedicated editor and are automatically updated as PDFs when data changes in the PIM. No-code rules automate checks, classification and status changes. However, Plytix is not an enterprise PIM. Complex data models, multiple tenants and deep ERP integrations are not its focus. There is no graphical workflow designer, GDSN connectivity or industry-specific templates, and for very large product ranges, some manual import steps become cumbersome. For brands and retailers with manageable product ranges looking to move away from Excel, this is not a drawback. Businesses working with many technical attributes or standards such as ETIM should assess these limitations during a trial.
Plytix provides implementation, consulting and training itself. In the German-speaking region, abilex is listed as a Plytix partner in our directory, along with its partner status and source. As part of our vendor-neutral PIM selection service, we assess whether Plytix is the right system for your product range.
