Mediaflow

Mediaflow is a Swedish SaaS platform based in Uppsala that combines digital asset management (DAM), an online video platform and a brand portal. According to an announcement dated 2 September 2025, more than 850 customers use the platform, including many municipalities and public sector organisations in the Nordic countries.

Hosting and security

Mediaflow runs as a cloud-based service. According to the vendor, files and backups are stored exclusively in data centres in Sweden. The vendor does not list any certifications on its security pages, but mentions external security audits and penetration tests.

Integration with PIM and other systems

Mediaflow does not offer a PIM system, and no PIM integrations are listed. The vendor lists plug-ins and integrations for Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Canva and Microsoft Office 365, as well as for CMS platforms such as WordPress, Optimizely, Sitevision, SharePoint, Drupal and Umbraco. A REST API is also available, with credentials and documentation provided by support.

Mediaflow targets marketing and communications departments and creative professionals in businesses and public sector organisations, with a customer base concentrated in the Nordic countries.

Pricing

Some pricing is published: add-on modules start at €60 (Media Portal, integrations) and €190 (Brand Portal) per month. Prices for the base packages are not published and are available on request. No VAT information is provided.

Ownership

According to an announcement dated 2 September 2025, Bonnier Capital acquired a significant minority stake in Mediaflow. Josef Rönnquist is the founder and CEO.
