nextPIM

nextPIM by nextPIM GmbH

nextPIM is a PIM system for manufacturers, processors and distributors in the industrial trade sector, known in Germany as PVH. Based in Hörstel in the Münsterland region, nextPIM GmbH was founded in 2019 and primarily targets small and medium-sized businesses looking to get their product data in order without a major IT project.

nextPIM features

The focus is on standards commonly used in building services, electrical supplies and building materials. Product data can be classified using ETIM, and catalogues can be imported and exported in BMEcat format. The system generates data sheets from maintained product data at the click of a button.

Ready-made connectors are available for platforms including Shopware 6, the procurement platform Onventis and OSG. nextPIM is also a partner of ausschreiben.de. This connection puts product data where planners, architects and civil engineers prepare tender documents.

Who nextPIM is suited to

The system is tailored to a specific sector and deliberately keeps getting started straightforward. This suits medium-sized businesses that need to supply ETIM and BMEcat data and currently use Excel to do so. Businesses serving many sales channels outside specialist distribution, or managing highly complex variant structures, should use a demo to assess whether the data model meets their needs.

“With nextPIM, companies can manage their product data efficiently in one central place and optimise their digital business processes to successfully meet market challenges.”
