Deployment and security
The DAM is available on-premises, in a public or private cloud, and as a managed service in the OpenText Cloud; Core DAM runs as SaaS. OpenText lists private cloud data centres in Germany, the UK, France, Canada and Australia, among other locations. The product page does not list any DAM-specific certifications.
Integration with PIM and other systems
The DAM does not include its own PIM module. A PIM Integration Framework has been available since 2023, and a connector for Salsify supports bidirectional synchronisation. Further integrations are available with SAP (S/4HANA, C/4HANA), Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager and Workfront, as well as via REST APIs.
Who is OpenText Digital Asset Management suited to?
OpenText targets its DAM at large enterprises and global brands, including those in regulated industries with data sovereignty requirements.
