Scaleflex

Lyon-based Scaleflex offers digital asset management, also referred to as Filerobot in its documentation and integrations, alongside an image and video optimisation and delivery layer (Cloudimage). The vendor calls this package a Visual Experience Platform.

Hosting and security

Scaleflex runs as SaaS. On request, data is stored in French OVH data centres in the EU. Microsoft Azure and AWS (both in Ireland) are also listed as subprocessors. Customers can connect their own S3, GCP or Azure storage. The vendor does not mention ISO 27001 or SOC 2, but states GDPR compliance and MACH certification.

Integration with PIM and other systems

Scaleflex does not list a PIM module. An Akeneo connector is available (a community connector and an enterprise app). Other integrations include Shopware, Shopify, Adobe Commerce, WordPress, Contentstack, Storyblok and commercetools.

Who Scaleflex is suited to

Scaleflex targets enterprises as well as SMEs and start-ups, primarily in e-commerce, real estate, tourism and hospitality according to the vendor, and reports over 1,300 customers.

Pricing

Scaleflex does not publish prices. Quotes are prepared following a consultation, with modular pricing based on users, storage, bandwidth and AI credits. The 30-day trial requires a credit card and automatically converts to the smallest plan afterwards.

Ownership

In June 2021, Scaleflex received €2.5 million from BrightCap Ventures, Oktogon Ventures and John Marshall. No acquisition has been confirmed.
