PIM-Consultants

Dynamicweb is a platform from Denmark that combines PIM, e-commerce and content management. According to the company, over 2,000 customers worldwide use the software, with implementations typically delivered through partners. In early 2025, SignUp Software, a provider of extensions for Microsoft Dynamics, acquired the company. An office in Berlin serves the German-speaking market. SignUp Software brings its Microsoft Dynamics solutions together under the Truvio brand. Its commerce suite with PIM is based on Dynamicweb and is sometimes listed as “Truvio” on comparison sites.

Features at a glance

  • PIM: centralised product data with variants, translations and media.
  • E-commerce: B2B and B2C stores with customer-specific pricing and multiple storefronts.
  • CMS: websites and portals on the same platform, with headless delivery via APIs also available.
  • ERP integration: tight integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV and Finance.

Strengths and limitations

Dynamicweb is worth considering for companies that want their online store, website and product data from a single provider and use Microsoft Dynamics as their ERP system. In the German-speaking market, Dynamicweb names Mann+Hummel, Weh and bellissa HAAS among its clients. The PIM is tailored to its own commerce platform. If you need to supply many external channels, support print publishing or handle complex technical classifications, you should assess the PIM capabilities carefully.

Who Dynamicweb is suited to

Dynamicweb suits manufacturers and wholesalers using Microsoft Dynamics that want to implement a B2B store, website and PIM together.
